Along the way I will relate the story of the town through its peoples; the Beothuks, the French, the Irish, and the English. You will experience its magnificent built and human history through stories, photos, burial records, shipwrecks, and disasters as you time travel through Newfoundland history in the magical setting of Trinity."

"My name is Kevin and I have been operating Trinity Historical Walking Tours for 26 years. My Toope ancestors arrived in the "New Founde Land" from Dorset, England in the early 1800's and were fishermen in the tiny resettled community of Ireland's Eye for five generations, and that's where I was born. I moved to Trinity with my parents at the age of two, and after high school I attended Memorial University of Newfoundland where I earned a B. Sc., B. Ed., and M.Ed. I then taught in the Newfoundland and Labrador school system for more than 40 years. Over the years I have traveled extensively and visited many scenic and historic places in the world, and experienced many cultures. However, Trinity, with its spectacular scenery, rich history, and friendly people ranks as one of the most spectacular places on this planet. I am proud to be from Trinity and I will show you Trinity from a personal and historic perspective that will enhance your visit to our Newfoundland."
